FAQs

Do both partners need to be willing?

1

Ideally, yes. This work is most effective when both partners are open to participating.  That said, meaningful change can also begin when one person chooses to take responsibility for their own inner work.

What if we’re close to separating?

2

You don’t need to be “okay” to start.  Many couples come to this work when things feel fragile. What matters most is a willingness to be honest and a commitment to try.

Is this counselling or therapy?

3

This is coaching. It is focused on present patterns, personal responsibility, and practical change. It does not replace mental health treatment.

Do you work with individuals?

4

Yes.  Individual sessions are available for those who want to work on themselves in service of their relationship, or for those who are focusing on their healing before stepping into union.

What about abusive relationships?

5

This work is not designed to sustain abusive relationships.  Safety, dignity, and wellbeing always come first.  If abuse is present, support services and specialist help are essential.

Is this spiritual or religious?

6

My work is grounded in faith but not religious or dogmatic in any way.  You don’t need to follow any belief system.  The focus is awareness, responsibility, and conscious relationship.

How long does this take?

7

There is no fixed timeline.  Healing and change unfold differently for every couple.  We move at a pace that supports real, sustainable shifts.
